Applies A.R.S. §23-779 (1/25 of your highest base-period quarter, up to $320), the qualifying tests of §23-771 with the 2026 minimum wage ($15.15), the 24/26-week and one-third limits of §23-780, and the $160 partial-earnings rule. Estimates only — the Arizona Department of Economic Security determines actual amounts.
How this tool works. The weekly benefit is 1/25 of your highest base-period quarter, rounded to the nearest dollar, up to $320. You qualify if that quarter is at least 390 times the Arizona minimum wage ($5,908.50 in 2026) and your base-period wages are at least 1.5 times it — or, alternatively, with at least $8,000 in at least two quarters and one quarter of $7,987.50 or more. Total benefits are the lesser of 24 times the weekly benefit (26 when the prior quarter’s unemployment rate is 5% or more) or one-third of base-period wages. In a part-time week, wages over $160 are deducted; no benefit is payable once wages reach the weekly benefit amount.
Limitations. This is a calculation, not a determination. The first eligible week of a claim is an unpaid waiting week. Severance, vacation, holiday and sick pay are deducted by DES under separate rules. Separation issues, availability and work search are decided separately.
