Estimates only — the Maine Department of Labor determines actual amounts.

How this tool works. Your weekly amount is the average of your two highest base-period quarters divided by 22, rounded down, from $113 to $649 for claims filed June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027 (reached at $28,556 across those two quarters). Each dependent child adds $25, up to 75% of your weekly amount. To qualify you need $2,498.24 in each of two quarters and $7,494.72 in the base period. Total benefits are the lesser of 26 times your weekly amount or one-third of your base-period wages, plus dependents. In a part-time week, earnings above $128 are deducted (26 M.R.S. §§ 1191, 1192-A; MDOL).

Limitations. This is a calculation, not a determination. It does not model separation issues, the waiting week, work search, deductions for pensions or other income, or the alternate base period. The amounts reset each June.
